Ersatz Ethics?

To be honest, I am not entirely sure about what I want to write on.  My basic idea is to explore how Disney manipulates the audience.  Thinking back to the last time I went to Disneyland, I remember this juxtaposition of excitement and awareness that I was buying into the manufactured happiness... but still being okay with it.  The political side of the Disney empire has come up too--through criticisms on racism and subliminal messaging-- some of which can be a stretch.  Nonetheless, Disney utilizes its clout extremely well and will probably continue to indoctrinate us until forever. So... I'll be trying to analyze how and why this works.
